Portal Frames, Housing Scheme in Crumlin
Run of red oxide primed portal frames fabricated and erected across a new housing scheme, each frame bolted to cast in base plates over rising block work.
About this structural steel project
Run of red oxide primed portal frames fabricated and erected across a new housing scheme, each frame bolted to cast in base plates over rising block work.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Crumlin, Dublin 12 by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
On a housing scheme the frames need to be identical from the first house to the last, so they were made as a batch from one set of drawings. Bolting each frame to cast in base plates meant they could be stood up as soon as the block work reached height, keeping the trades behind us on programme.
