Dublin steel fabricators since 2013.
Churchtown Steel Engineering Ltd is a trusted structural steel fabrication company holding EN 1090-1 EXC3 and ISO 9001:2015 certification. We deliver innovative, durable and safe steel solutions for homes, offices and industrial spaces across Dublin and Leinster.
Serious steel, done properly.
Founded by Stephen, Churchtown Steel Engineering brings a proper trade approach to structural steelwork in Dublin. Coded welders, mill certified steel, and paperwork that clears building control first time.
Our team of skilled engineers and fabricators is dedicated to quality craftsmanship, from the first design sketch to the final installation. Every project is tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients while complying with the highest safety standards.
We take on residential, commercial and industrial work. That means a single RSJ for a kitchen extension in Rathgar sits on the workshop floor next to a portal frame heading to a light industrial unit in Ballymount. Both jobs get the same paperwork and the same welding standard.
Every handrail, staircase, railing and gate we produce is carefully designed, precision engineered and installed with the highest level of professionalism.

What EN 1090 EXC3 actually means for your build.
Structural steel certification.
EN 1090 is the European standard for structural steelwork. Execution class 3 is the level required for most habitable buildings in Ireland. It covers three things that matter to a client. Welder qualifications. Steel traceability. Factory production controls.
A fabricator without EXC3 cannot legally supply certified structural steel for most habitable buildings. Every load we send out ships with a declaration of performance, mill certificates for the steel used, and welding records where required.
Our certification is issued under OMNI-00174-FPC for EN 1090-1 and OMNI-00174-QMS for ISO 9001:2015. Certificates are supplied to your engineer or main contractor on request before work begins.
Fully insured, fully certified team.
We carry public liability and employer liability insurance on every job. Certificates are supplied on request before work begins.
All staff hold up to date Safe Pass certification and coded welding tickets to the process they are welding on. That is a practical requirement to work legally on Irish construction sites, not a marketing line.
If your engineer or main contractor needs to see certs before we start, we send them the day the order comes in.
A clear step by step process on every job.
