Steel fabrication in Kildare
Our workshop sits on the Naas Road in Dublin 22, which puts the whole of north and mid Kildare inside an easy run down the N7. That closeness is why Kildare is one of the counties we work in most often, from house extensions in Celbridge and Maynooth to warehouse and unit work around Naas and Newbridge.
The work we do most in Kildare
A lot of Kildare work is residential steel for extensions and attic conversions. Wide rear openings onto a garden need a properly sized beam and padstones, and the engineer's drawing has to be matched exactly in the workshop. We fabricate to the drawing, mark the steel clearly and deliver it ready to sit, which keeps the builder moving on the day of the lift.
The other steady stream is commercial and light industrial. The business parks around Naas, Newbridge and Kill mean mezzanine floors, plant supports, access stairs and platforms, all of which need EN 1090-1 EXC3 certified fabrication and the paperwork to go with it.
Getting steel to site in Kildare
Delivery from Dublin 22 to most of Kildare is a short trip, so we can usually work around a tight slot on a busy site rather than dictating a delivery day. For rural sites with a narrow entrance or a soft yard, tell us at quote stage and we plan the lift and the load accordingly.
For gates and railings on the county's larger sites and farm entrances, we survey the opening before anything is cut, because ground levels and pier spacing on older entrances are rarely what the plan says.
