Railings and balustrades across Kildare

Kildare railing work covers everything from a short front boundary on an estate house in Celbridge to long runs around a commercial yard in Naas. The design questions are different in each case but the durability questions are the same.

Residential boundaries

Most domestic Kildare jobs are front boundary railings on a low wall, sometimes with a matching pedestrian gate. Straight vertical bar designs dominate because they look tidy, cost less than decorative work and do not date.

Where a house has a level difference into the garden, or steps down from a driveway, guarding requirements apply and the design has to satisfy the height and 100mm gap rules.

Commercial and industrial railings

Around the business parks in Naas, Newbridge and Kill we fit pedestrian guardrail, loading bay edge protection, yard boundary railings and stair core balustrades. These are function led: galvanised, robust, and detailed so a forklift knock does not write off the whole run.

Modular runs with bolted posts make future repairs cheap, which is worth specifying in a busy yard.

Site measurement and fitting

Existing walls are rarely level and rarely straight. We measure on site and set out the panels and post positions to the actual wall rather than an assumed dimension, which avoids awkward cut down panels at the end of a run.

Installation is core drilled and resin anchored, or base plated where the substrate will not take a drilled fixing.

Finishes and pricing

Hot dip galvanised with a powder coat is our standard recommendation across Kildare, indoors or out. Black remains the most requested colour, with anthracite grey a close second on newer houses.

Send a photo and the run length and we will come back with a price, usually within a working day.

Want this priced for your own job? Send us your drawings or a photo and we will come back with a fixed price, usually within one working day.
