Steel gates across Kildare

Kildare gate work runs from small pedestrian side gates on estate houses to wide security gates on commercial yards along the N7. What they have in common is that the survey decides the design.

Residential entrances

Around Naas, Newbridge, Maynooth and Celbridge the usual job is a pair of swinging driveway gates with a matching pedestrian gate, often automated. Bar and panel designs dominate, with cedar clad and louvre infill chosen where privacy from a busy road matters.

Because most of these houses have existing piers, the survey is largely about whether those piers can carry a steel gate. Many were built for light timber and need reinforcing or replacing with steel posts.

Commercial and yard gates

Business parks need gates that take daily traffic and keep the site secure overnight. That usually means a cantilever sliding gate on a heavy foundation, automated, with access control tied into whatever the site already uses.

Fabrication is heavier throughout: larger sections, full welds, and hardware rated well above the actual gate weight so it survives constant cycling.

Farm and rural entrances

West and south Kildare bring farm entrances, which need width for machinery, galvanised finishes and posts set deep enough for the load. We fabricate these to suit the machinery actually using the entrance rather than a standard width.

Matching field and paddock gates can be made in the same batch so everything on the property looks consistent.

How it works

We survey the entrance, agree the design and finish, fabricate in Dublin 22 and install across Kildare. Galvanising and powder coating are arranged as part of the order.

Send photographs of the entrance from both sides with the opening width, and we can give you a price range before arranging the survey.
