About this railings & balustrades project
Silver grey steel railings running the length of a raised coastal terrace, topped with frameless toughened glass on stainless clamps so the sea view stays open while the edge is fully guarded.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Howth, Co. Dublin by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
On the Howth coast the view is the whole point, so the guarding had to stay low and see through. Steel railings provide the strength, and the frameless glass above them brings the edge up to full guarding height without blocking the sea. Stainless clamps were chosen because they cope with salt air far better than standard fittings.
