About this railings & balustrades project
Traditional style balustrade to granite entrance steps on a period building, with knuckled bar uprights, moulded newels and a continuous curved handrail finished in satin black.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Rathmines, Dublin 6 by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
Period buildings in Rathmines deserve metalwork that looks like it has always been there. The knuckled uprights and moulded newels follow traditional patterns, and the curved handrail was formed in one continuous length to follow the granite steps rather than being joined in pieces. A satin black finish keeps it in keeping with the building.
