About this railings & balustrades project
Cantilevered steel balcony bolted back into the structure of a stone fronted house, with a welded deck tray, powder coated fascia and galvanised vertical bar balustrade to current guarding standards.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Malahide, Co. Dublin by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
A cantilever balcony has no posts to the ground, so all the load goes back into the house. The steel was bolted into the main structure as the engineer specified, with a welded deck tray to take the floor finish. The balustrade was galvanised and the fascia powder coated to stand up to the weather on the coast at Malahide.
