Compact checker plate ramp and platform to a fire exit door, with tubular steel guardrails and a shallow gradient threshold for step free escape.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
A fire exit must be usable by everyone, including wheelchair users, without a step at the door. The ramp and platform give a gentle gradient down from the threshold, the checker plate deck stays grippy in the wet, and tubular guardrails guide people safely to ground level in Clondalkin.
