Contemporary cantilever sliding gate built on a galvanised steel frame and clad in vertical cedar boards, running on a concealed track to sit flush with the rendered boundary wall.
The steel was fabricated in our Dublin workshop and installed on site in Portmarnock, Co. Dublin by our own team. Every job is set out from measured site dimensions, welded and finished in house, and delivered to suit the site programme.
Why we built it this way
Timber looks great on a modern house in Portmarnock, but a timber gate on its own will warp. Building it on a galvanised steel frame keeps it straight and strong, while the cedar boards give the finish the owners wanted. Being a cantilever gate it runs on a concealed track, so it sits flush with the rendered wall.

Site measure and drawings
We visit, take measurements and agree sizes, finishes and fixing details before anything is cut.

Workshop fabrication
Cutting, drilling, forming and welding is carried out in our own workshop under EN 1090-1 EXC3 and ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Finishing
Primed, painted, powder coated or hot dip galvanised to suit the exposure and the look you want.

Delivery to site
Delivered and installed on an agreed date, with lifting arranged where the steel needs craning in.
